Are you kidding me?
Is it possible that the keynote speaker at the Republican Convention is praising President Obama? He stopped short of an endorsement, but I am confident Governor Christie will vote for Obama.

He praised the president in glowing terms. (Romney must be out of his mind.) How could this happen? Republicans in Congress refused for years to compromise with Obama. For years! Come hell or high water. Well, the high water arrived. The GOP refused every offer.

So, like you, I anticipated that the same would happen after Hurricane Sandy. But, no, Governor Christie responded like a statesman. This was not a time for knit-picking. It was a time to save lives, restore the state, and they jumped in with both feet--together.

Maybe, just maybe, the hurricane is the wake-up call.

I wouldn't make too much of what Chris Christie says or does right now. These guys all hate big government until their own teat is in the wringer, and Christie has quite a set of man boobs to holler about. He is really just praising what conservatives love, i.e. privatizing gain and socializing losses.

Has it occurred to anyone that Chris Christie's dream scenario is for Pres. Obama to win, thereby clearing his path to the Republican nomination in 2016?
