What a way to start!
Fighting Bob Festers were at the Goodman Center last night, ready for the 6:00 kickoff when a news flash came via WORT. Dane County Circuit Court Judge Juan Colas ruled that Act 10 is unconstitutional and is null and void. In a 27-page opinion, Judge Colas took on the Attorney General, the WERC and the Walker administration. People jumped to their feet for prolonged applause at the Goodman Center. What a great way to start Fighting Bob Fest, number 11.

Congratulations to John Matthews, MTI and to Lester Pines. Great work, folks. Great work!

From pure joy to intense feelings about the impact of war on those sent to fight them. Phil Donahue's brilliant film Body of War brought tears to everyone in the room.

Norm Solomon explained just how easy it is for a nation to slip into war.

And then there was Jim hightower, who brought down the house with his commentary.

We are off and runing. The mood is great. While some would say that the recall failed, it was clear last night that the recall was yesterday and we are working on tmorrow!

See you later today as Bill McKibben, Mike Papantonio, Terry O'Neill, Buddy Roemer, Dr. Jill Stein, Stan Gruszynski, Phil Donahue and John Nichols light more fires at the Alliant Center. Parking is free but ideas cost a lot. We need you! See you there!

"Fighting Bob Festers" just doesn't have the right ring to it.
