Koch boys again?
Charles and his brother David Koch, the Tea Party founders, are everywhere. Read the NYT this morning to see how ubiquitous they have become. About $400 million will go to Romney/Ryan this year thanks to the Kochs. Did the two Kochs select Ryan? Kinda looks like it. Yup! $400 million. Not all from them, but they appear to be in charge of raising it from the right-wing givers.

What is going on? Well for a hint look to the Commission on Presidetial Debates. I suspect most Americans think the debates are run by the League of Women Voters or some other non-profit group. Nope! The Commission, a private corporation, sets the rules for debates, selects the participants (no Buddy Roemer--the commission didn't like him), and selects the moderators.

Who will they select this year? Well, they announced and it could not be much worse. All are tied to the networks--and we know how they will vote. Four white conservatives will help protect Romney. Then they could add the Green Party nominee or, I suppose, even alter the rules mid-stream. (Recall the bulge in W's back?) The Koch boys will send and raise $400 million, will they meddle in the debates? To say no requires a naivate that is missing in our group.

Candy Crowley? Paahhhallleeeze!
