The far right is worried!
The nutty Tea Party folks are panicked. What if Uncle Milt ("We are the boys from Texaco...") selects a moderate? Will conservatives still support him?
The far, far right wants Paul Ryan for vice president. The guy who will destroy Medicare and Medicaid. Get rid of the safety net now! Who needs it?
I am pinning my hopes on Romney making yet another mistake by selecting Portman or Pawlenty. Ryan would persuade some in the middle that he is smart and more moderate that he lets on. (Left of Ted Kennedy are ya?) Besides, he would be first in line for president in 2016. No, Mitt, stick with your friends.
Fighting Bob blog-talk radio is picking up listeners, mostly from its archives. It is a great vehicle to spread our gospel. Tune in every Thursday morning at 11:00.
Keep those ideas for Newt University flowing. Got to have some fun with this one.

Bain Capital sure isn't helping Mitt. The Guardian reports that Bain's closing down an Illinois plant and shipping the jobs to China. [ http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2012/aug/10/illinois-workers-bain-outsourcing ]
James Carville had an interesting observation in Rolling Stone magazine about Citizens United, the voter ID laws and the Republicans. He says this is their last chance because the demographics (nonwhites, unmarrieds, educated women, you name it) are growing and they're more inclined to vote Democratic, and not vote for the too white, too old, too fat, too insane party.
So it may be one major corporate party if the Dems can get past 2012 in ok shape.
