Forget trying to convert corporate media
In Days of Destruction Days of Revolt, Chris Hedges writes, "They knew the media would not amplify their voices so they created media of their own." Exactly the same can be said of Fighting Bob. Those who attended the first Fighting Bob Fest noted, somewhat bitterly, that the media paid no attention to our political "Chautauqua." Many knew the truth Hedges explained, even before he wrote about it, and urged us to create our own media. We did and we have done very well.

The numbers are impressive to say the least. In our first year we set a goal of 3,000 visitors per week. Now we have 30,000 per week! We have received more than 7,000 comments/letters, put up more than 3,200 blog posts, and we have had 5 million visitors. Fighting Bob Fest gets a boost from FightingBob.com and vice versa. Had we waited for coverage from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, we would still just be complaining.
