That's journalism?
The people who read the MJS editorial endorsement of Governor Walker shook their heads in disbelief. Forget the substance (?) of the endorsement, based, apparently, on a January poll conducted by the mysterious Marquette law school polling operation finding that 72 percent or so of Badgers think recall should be for criminal conduct only. The writing was, to be kind, sub-par. Yikes! Is this what has merged from the shadows of the Milwaukee Journal and Milwaukee Sentinel merger? Guess so.

I can hardly wait to see more Purple Wisconsin!

I, too, am surprised how many in this state seem to think recall should be for criminal behavior only. If this were the case, then those who wrote the constitution would have so limited this powerful right we have as Wisconsinites. It is too bad we do not have a recall similar to Ohio where bad legislation can be repealed by petitioning the government. But this would mean the citizens get involved in the legislative process.

The J/S is good for lining the bottom of a bird cage but not much else. That's pretty much all Walker is good for too.

Seems like the MJS is currying favor with advertisers and potential advertisers.

I think recall is preferable to legislation by referendum. I offer California as Exhibit
A.
