Convinced now?
Tom Barrett did not win by a nose. He won convincingly, in a blow-out election. Congratulations to Tom and his supporters. A tremendous victory.

Thus far it is Barrett 1 and Koch boys 0. And the other three candidates should feel good because they ran good, solid, positive campaigns. All candidates quickly focused on the real target, the pride of Kochland, Scott Walker!

Prize for foot-in-mouth comment on Election Night goes to Scott Walker. Shouting his speech in Waukesha, he hollered, "We don't want to be Milwaukee--we want to be Wisconsin!" What a goofy thing to say about the county he represented for years. What is his message? "I screwed it up so badly I don't want you to look"?

OK, the race has begun!

Its a nice try Ed at spin or telling yourself its ok. Walker had more votes than Falk and Barrett combined. Falk the hand picked bought and paid for public employee union candidate was blown out. She didn't even win Dane county. Pretty sad since this whole recall was supposedly about act 10. Barrett didnt even want to show his face at the ralley today to be associated with the unions. Walker was the lone conservitive in Milwaukee as you well know Ed. He did what he could but in the end the liberals over rode most of his budgets. Milwaukee is the mess it is thanks to democrats and Tom Barrett's 8 year
epic fail as mayor.

Yup, the race has begun. Let's see if Casper Milquetoast Barrett is up to it this time. My wife's teacher retirment pay is on the line, or will be if Walker wins this one too.

My favorite Walker moment is when he shouted that he represents the taxpayers of Wisconsin. Yeah, right. He consistently blames out of state unions and the tens of millions of dollars they bring into the state to run the recall, yet Walker says nothing of having the most money to spend and the fact he has spent too much of our time scooting about the country begging for more money.

May he who shouts the loudest lose.

While SW (or whomever he/she really is) is technically correct, the numbers for Vinehout and LaFollette (who were serious and credible candidates) put the Dems ahead by roughly 36K. Granted some goopers may have voted for Falk, but I'd be willing to bet that they did not exceed the number of people who voted for Walker's primary opponent.

SW Let's have all those facts about the cooperation and leadership of Milwaukee County's exec. while in office. Everyone needs facts; not your "let's pretend hour" about who it really was who did not cooperate enough or lead enough to really assist Milwaukee County...while Cty exec...while you also might have come back to reality to mention 8 years of other let's pretenders..those who insisted on an Iraq war and its horrific human and huge $ expenses...which cost this state and cities many $ too,.or do you not know that either.... Furthermore, it's often some of the greediest parasites lurking just outside a city who want to live off its benefit, but greedily want to grab and hoard what everyone else from city to county has helped to achieve. Those greedy are the people who run for GOP office these days? Gosh darn. Revelations. What a surprise.
