He's back!
"God's Rottweiler" now known as Pope Benedict XVI, is back and reactionary as ever. A shortcut to a homily delivered yesterday by the Pope:

Celibacy: of course.

Women priests? Of course not.

He wants obedience! Period.
A request to permit divorced Catholics to receive communion? Of course not (unless, of course, they purchase an annulment).

Sexual abuse of children by priests and church coverups? Move on.

MJS reports a calm but determined Governor Walker is "sustained by prayer," and says Walker talked openly about his faith, his determination to win the recall, and what he would have done differently, to the Christian Broadcasting news network. He talked about his faith. How has his family made it through all the turmoil? I am not kidding: they relied on prayer. "God's got a plan for us that who knows where it might be." God's grace is always abundant...

Religion and faith do cause people to think, act and vote irrationally. Be careful.

Obedience may be good to some, but disobedience is always better. The need to question authority always has not gone away.

Perhaps Mr. Walker should look again at the thoughts of Jesus.

After reading them, the question should be, "Was Jesus a capitalist?"

A real Christian that Scott Walker(snicker).

I don't know why you are so down on the Pope. It was a great move by him, to reinstate a priest who claimed the Holocaust was a hoax. That sure didn't fly very long, praise The Lord. When he did that, he supported the third reich. Let's face it, this human does not have a clue. He is a politician who visits Cuba, and hopes that a brief stopover in the great land of the The U.S.A. will give him a wedge to tap America for the funds that will enable him to have his powdered wigs, great robes, and all the makeup that he desires. I don't think it was a successful trip, becsause, the media let it die pretty quick. Seriously, this is not a charismatic man. He is just another Pope in the pizza. He is looking to take more money from the Catholic Churches here. The church here has been devastated by it's priests. Priest is now a bad word. This goof was actually hoping that his breif stopover here would create a major commotion of adoration and great adoring crowds. The Dude seriously miscalculated.

Full disclosure: I was raised Catholic, never been abused by anyone in my life, grew up in a happy family, and I believe there are and have been many Great Catholics. I just think, that misleading people in the name of Jesus Christ is the most serious sin that Jesus will not forgive. Jesus loves Jews, Moslems, Buddhists, and people of all religions. I'm not saying that Jesus Christ is a man or woman.

Dear, American Catholics, if you feel you must be a Catholic, then I urge you to start your own Church, an American Catholic Church, that is rooted in the reality that Jesus Christ knows what is happening in the world.

I wish everyone a happy Easter. I will celebrate it.
