2011: wishes
I try to avoid New Year's resolutions but the Wisconsin State Journal had an idea. Headlines they hope to see in 2011. Here are a few of mine:

"Obama pulls all troops out of Afghanistan"

"Walker changes mind--high speed train welcomed in Wisconsin"

"Justice Prosser agrees to turn back all contributions in Supreme Court race: Declares It is Time for an election instead of an auction"

"Wisconsin State Journal votes to become a newspaper"

Why not dream a little?

Oh, the Rose Bowl? What happens when the team experts said would win plays 60 minutes of mistake-free football? That team usually wins. If this were the World Series the Badgers would win 6 out of 7, but it ain't. Congrats to TCU and congratulations and thanks to the Badgers. A great season.

JOBS: OK, here we go. Lots of experts say Walker will easily create 250,000 new, permanent, family-supporting jobs. All he has to do is create 177 per day. At this point he has lost 1,600 jobs, so his total will be adjusted accordingly. He is 5,487 behind as of January 3, 2011.
