'Remotely inappropriate'?
Heavens no! Two former enemies squared off years ago. In 1997 Cuomo and Andrew Frakas "were sworn enemies." Andrew Cuomo was the nation's housing secretary and he was after Andrew Farkas for giving kickbacks to a landlord. The case settled, Farkas and Cuomo embraced, and voilà! Friends for life! The NYT put it this way: "Mr Cuomo received hundreds of thousands of dollars for his campaigns from Farkas and over three years Frakas hired Cuomo and paid him $2.5 million dollars! Whoa Nelly! Now, Democrats are permitted to wince, shrug and then ignore this relationship. Not to worry! Farkas gave you all the comfort you need. "The truth is, there's a friendship here, a love and respect here, and a bond, that surmounts all this stuff...there is nothing about all this that is remotely inappropriate or improper."
OK then. Once sworn enemies as the regulator went after a scofflaw; they became friends, and the "hunted" hired the hunter and gave him thousands, indeed, millions of bucks! Everyday stuff--don't get huffy about it. Appearances be damned! Nothing should interrupt this love story.
I could not watch the second Feingold-Johnson because Channel 27, ABC affiliate in Madison, opted for dancing with the stars. So much for civic duty! Thanks 27! But CNN brought two debates--Nevada and Delaware. Conclusion? Howard Cosell often said "you deserve whatever you get." Well, we get people a step away from the Senate who are not qualified to catch dogs in the park. Harry Reid should have retired; as for Delaware and the "I'm not a witch" candidate--c'mon!
Will Ron Johnson show up tonight? I doubt it. He looks pathetic live and in color. Why would he jeopardize his lead by proving again he ain't ready for prime time?
Voter turnout--that is the only way to restore sanity to our corrupt political system.

Voter turn out huh? Just what the hell are democratic leaning voters supposed to turn out FOR? Oh, I know, the TeaGaggers et.al. are awful but getting people to turn out against something is kind of hard. They will be inclined to let it ride.
Face it. The Dems have nobody to blame but themselves in this election. They had the wind at their backs and they turned around and pissed into it. If liberals need a bogeyman to blame look no further than the White House. Obungle hasn't met a bankster or lobbyist he couldn't try to mollify. Good ol' Rahm recruited all kinds of Dems to run in '08 but a whole bunch of them were little more than Copperheaded Blue Dogs who voted with the GOP more than half the time.
In the meantime there is a ready made election issue in the foreclosure crises and Obungle hasn't got the guts that (now) 50, yes 50, state AGs have in going after these SOBs. Obungle would rather mollify the banksters once again.
The Afghan war continues apace, jobs are gone, Elizabeth Warren has been hidden away because Obungle couldn't do some jujitsu on a confirmation fight, Gitmo still operates, etc. etc.etc.
Remind me again Ed, what are we supposed to vote for? Oh yeah, I remember, we are supposed to vote for the least worst.
Time to form an active state chapter of the Working Families Party and give the Dems a taste of what Progressive really looks like.
