Here we go!
Buckle your seatbelts folks, you and I are on a mission to do our best to save this planet.

Adbusters
issue 75, summed it up: "Global warming kicked in with a vengeance in 2007 and eco systems crashed like never before. We finally had to admit that our fossil fuel-based way of living had thrown the planet out of whack for hundreds, maybe thousands of years. The year 2007 may well be remembered by future generations as the year the Earth tipped, the moment when this 30,000 generation-long experiment of ours on Planet Earth suddenly veered out of control."

When even the Today Show figured it out, indeed, when U.S.Today knows about global warming and when hundreds of gatherings around the country had Step It Up rallies, the time has arrived. This is the moment for a movement of all religions, all politicians, good citizens all, to move forward. If leaders won't lead, people will. We will march on the Capitol in the spring and we will demand action. Let us hear your views.

Pakistan: The deposed Chief Justice called on lawyers to hit the streets in protest of the coup. He urged the lawyers nationwide to defy the police. Question: What would we do? Don't ask what Fighting Bob would do. What would we do if Bush were to call off our elections? Oh, can't happen. How silly of me to ask.

Mukasey: The day of infamy begins. The Senate will confirm "waterboard Michael" Mukasey. Apparently Senator Kohl still won't tell us how he will vote. He seems to operate on the theory that if you wait long enough, most problems go away. How about some leadership. Be sure you watch Frontline tonight on rendition. Maybe it will move Senators to do the right thing.

Iraq: Last week our leaders assured us that violence is down. Yesterday--5 more U.S. soldier were killed.
