Big money rules
It would be funny but it is sad. In order to raise the minimum wage, Congressional Democrats voted to give $4.8 billion in tax breaks, not to the working people but to business. Is there no end to this domination of big money?

Eau Claire and Wood County Dems voted to demand Joe Wineke resign as chair of the Party because he is an AT&T lobbyist getting $2,000 per month since January from AT&T. Joe says no. Should be an interesting convention, where Joe will seek another two-year term. Free cell phones for all?

Happy Memorial Day. Think of the 3,400 soldiers killed in a war without a purpose. Then put September 8 in your book--Fighting Bob Fest with Cindy Sheehan, Granny D, Mike McCabe, Jim Hightower and more. I have a feeling we will demand an end to the occupation.
