Jobs, jokes, jobs, jokes
Rarely have Wisconsin environmentalists been so unified as they are today in opposition to the Doyle/Panzer/Gard environmental deregulation act jokingly called the "Job Creation Act." From Gaylord Nelson calling for a veto to Attorney General Lautenschlager condemning the process, there is near-unanimity.
The Sierra Club is running ads on radio, TV and in the newspapers. George Meyer is clearly in opposition. Clean Wisconsin, 1000 Friends, and the majority of Democrats in the Assembly all agree that this bill is a mistake. The Greens have jumped as well. Back to the drawing boards, Governor. This idea of WMC's should not become your legacy.
