Jobs at home
FightingBob.com is pleased to publish "Indiafare," by state Senator Judy Robson. She and Assembly Rep. Mark Pocan are introducing the American Jobs Act in the Wisconsin Legislature. Under this innovative approach, all contractors with the state would be required to have the jobs performed in the U.S. Isn't it crazy to watch our own tax-supported jobs sent to India or Bangladesh?
Robson's article coincided with a New York Times report that "Companies like I.B.M. and Accenture are literally hiring thousands and thousands of people in places like Bangalore and Shanghai." Why? To save money, provide higher CEO salaries and better stock prices. Do you wonder which nation's anthem is sung at IBM board meetings?
