Sensitive Bush
A side of W we had not seen before. He was hurt by Jimmy Carter's sojurn into the land of truth when he correctly called this administration "the worst in history." Frankly, Carter understated the problem. He might have called for impeachment as hundreds gathered in Great Hall did yesterday. (They called on the governor, Madison City Council, Dane County Board and the State Legislature to join 42 towns in Vermont in asking Congress to impeach the president and the vice president.)

Predictably, Michael Beschloss the PBS-created star-historian, was critical of Carter. "His language was much sharper than what you'd normally hear" moaned the star. Oh, really? Well Michael, pull up a chair at the dining room table of a family that just lost a son in Iraq and tell them about presidential protocol. You might get a different reaction than you get inside the beltway.

Michael Moore: The film will rock the insurance industry, change the debate over health care in the presidential race, and do more to push this nation toward universal care than anything the Clintons did in 8 years. June 29 is the opening. Should be a hoot.
