Heating up
Just as the frost hit the pumpkins, politics started heating up. Libby indicted, Cheney clearly implicated, the occupation in Iraq now opposed by a growing majority of Americans and the Arab League, Harry Reid surprised Bill Frist with a closed session of the Senate and Frist in true high school fashion cried that "He asked my girlfriend to the prom and he didn't even tell me in advance."

And, on the heels of Cheney asking Senators to exempt the CIA from the anti-torture and cruel punishment amendment to the military appropriations bill, we learn that the administration has been operating a secret prison for torture in Eastern Europe! No wonder Cheney wanted an exemption for the CIA. What, pray tell, would we do with a torture chamber if we can't torture? Makes perfect sense to me.

And here at home the Lobbyist's State Senate passed Senate Bill 1 to create a super agency to police campaigns, one of The People's Legislature's top priories. Who knows, our clean-sweep campaign might bring fair elections. Then WMC would really be angry.

Rally on campus in Madison calling for the start of impeachment. Yup. Things are heating up.
