Is big money being spent for nothing? Depends on whether it is private or government spending. Most government spending is being spent for less than nothing. It is destructive, unnecessary, or only necessary due to previous unnecessary spending. Most private electioneering spending, on the other hand, is to access that spendthrift government spending.

Why fund the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp? Just stop taxing and unnecessarily regulating economic development and let the good times roll.

Why fund the state's Environmental Improvement Fund? Just shift the taxes from the economy to the environment and let the polluters pay.
