The Walker 14
14 billionaires donated to Walker's recall campaign, and one of them is a member of a family that commands more wealth than the U.S.'s 95 million least wealthy citizens.

Just keep telling your selves that lie. Lack of money is not what lost the recall. It might have been one factor but it was just one among many and not the major reason for the recall loss. The union and it's supporters had more than a year to make their case and didn't. The recall became about other things other than collective bargaining. All of your candidates were weak. There was no leader. The crazies in your recall movement got all the attention. You really think Segway boy, the solidarity singers and the capital take over were great PR things for you? Even better the Democratic senators wearing the orange shirts and yelling sham shame shame. Those orange shirts might have well said bought and paid for by the union on them. Sure in the fish bowel that is Madison they loved all the antics but the rest of the state just saw nut jobs. Walker didn't have to spend one cent to get that message out. All any one had to do was read the paper or turn on the news.

It isn't often that this liberal libertarian independent finds himself in agreement with SW but this time he nailed it.

Time for the Dummycraps and their fans to grow up. This is politics, not a damned group therapy session, love in, or encounter group. For once quit talking about yourself and try to figure out how reach US because I gotta say it, lately choosing between the Dums and the GOP is like deciding between arsenic and cyanide.

But by all means, shoot the messenger. Let us know how that works out for you.

BTW. Was there any blood on the floor at the Dums state convention this week-end? Any erstwhile leader get the boot? Anybody run out on a rail? Nah, didn't think so. I suppose everyone was commiserating and patting each other on the back about how they played such a nice losing race. PAH!

I could do with out the invective of the critics here because it "poisons the well." Money was a factor. But there were other reasons. I think the political and economic power-play that many of us saw was rarely well explained. It's hard to fit on a bumper-sticker. I'm surprised there wasn't a good multi-media website developed and town meetings to discuss it. Then when we finally started doing doors, it was about the candidate, not education, and the lists were from the Obama 2008!
