The real numbers and the real story
Walker's disregard for the truth and the general public's intelligence might have reached new lows with his "release" of new numbers contradicting Wisconsin's job losses.

Unfortunately, "fooling some of the people some of the time" might well be enough to keep him in office -- unless his lies and other misdeeds are clearly and loudly and widespreadly documented and proclaimed.

Doubly unfortunately, to do that requires lots of dough.

Who has the dough to do that sort of claiming/proclaiming/declaiming, do you think?

Take a wild guess.

If Walker ever told the truth I think he would disappear in a puff of smoke. The fact that he even has the slightest chance of keeping office says a lot more about the stupidity of the voter than is comfortable to think about.

And it takes newspapers that report the facts. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has sunk to a new low with its endorsement of Scott Walker. That wasn't a surprise; but what is a surprise is that the MJS editorial board is willing to risk the paper's reputuation (and future Pulitzer Prize awards). Just as history judged Joe McCarthy and his supporters, so too will history judge Scott Walker and those who "stood" with him (including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel). I wonder how the MJS reporters really feel about what's going on there.

It is beyond my comprehension why people in WI continue to support Walker. Are all of these people wealthy with no concerns for needing a job to support their families? Are they against educating their children for the future? And the idea that union members plan to vote to keep Walker in office is twilight zone thinking. I don't get it.

Actually the real story is that mayor Barrett and Dems are mad that the public was informed of the numbers given by 96% of employers. They would prefer the numbers from a survey of 3.6%. Thanks Sammy for chimming in from the beautiful bankrupt city of Detroit. It is no surprise you have no comprehension.

Scott, is that you? :)
